Mumbai Teen Cricket Star Musheer Khan Injured in Road Accident

MUMBAI: Talented teenager Musheer Khan suffered a fracture in a road accident in Uttar Pradesh while traveling with his father, Naushad Khan, from Kanpur to Lucknow for the Irani Cup.

He is the brother of cricketer Sarfaraz Khan. This injury will cause Musheer, 19, to miss the upcoming Irani Cup match against Rest of India from October 1-5 and the initial rounds of the Ranji Trophy starting October 11. Musheer recently impressed with a score of 181 on his Duleep Trophy debut and was expected to join India A’s shadow tour of Australia. The Mumbai selectors are set to find a replacement for him.
